Dr. Michael Greger is an American physician, author and a speaker on public health issues. He graduated from the Cornell University School of Agriculture and the Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a licensed general practitioner specializing in clinical nutrition. He focuses his work on the human health implications of intensive animal agriculture, including the routine use of non-therapeutic antibiotics and growth hormones in animals raised for food, and the public health threats of industrial factory farms.
He became a vegan in 1990, after which he created NutritionFacts.org. NutritionFacts.org is a non-profit website and is probably the best source on the web to learn about nutrition in a non-biased and scientific way.
